Editor, Times-Union:
The Greater Warsaw Ministerial Association is encouraging everyone to take a moment to pray on Wednesday, Sept. 11.
“We are asking everyone to take a moment of silence, reflection and prayer on the 12th anniversary of the attack of radical Islamic fundamentalists on New York, Washington, D.C. and the failed attempt in Pennsylvania.
“Remember the families who have lost loved ones on and since Sept. 11, 2001 through terrorist attacks around the world and our armed forces and emergency personnel who serve every day to protect freedom, some losing their lives in the cause of freedom.
“Pray for our President and our leaders to give them wisdom to lead America in the 21st Century.”
The GWMA will meet at the War Memorial at the Kosciusko County Courhouse in Warsaw on 9/11 to pray from noon to 1 p.m.
“We have met at the war memorial every year since 2002 to pray for our Nation and remember ‘freedom isn’t free.’  We encourage those who feel led to join us.”
