Editor, Times-Union:
For those who pathologically fear death, those who reach out to any possible glimmer of hope that they may go to a place to be with spooks in the sky: Sorry, friend, it’s just plain lights out.
In the meantime your spooks are more powerful than the Islamic spooks and the Islamic spooks are more powerful than the Hindu spooks etc. etc.
When countries go to war they take their spooks with them. Because their handbook tells them that your spooks are the greatest and most powerful.
Now it’s all pretty spooky if you ask me. My choice is just plain lights out. I am not home anymore. Oh, you want to know if I have a favorite spook. Sure he is the pope of my church, George Carlin.
