BOURBON – Michael L. Miller, 68, Bourbon, passed away at 7:50 p.m. Aug. 2, 2014, at his residence surrounded by family.
He was born May 3, 1946, in Warsaw, to Junior and Phyllis Shear Miller. On Feb. 22, 1969, in Elkhart he married Barbara Sampers, who survives.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a farmer. In his spare time he loved being outside, hunting and fishing. He graduated from Nappanee High School with the Class of 1964. He had been a resident of the Bourbon area since 1970 and a short time before at Etna Green.
Also surviving are three sons: Randy (and spouse Karen) Miller, Davenport, Iowa; H. Kelsey Miller, Millersburg; Eric (and spouse April) Miller, Bremen. He also was blessed with six grandchildren: Dalen, Kylee, Cora, Tori, Hunter and Carter; and a sister, Connie (and spouse George) Newkirk, Nappanee. He was preceded in death by his parents.
In honoring his and his family’s wishes, there will not be any services at this time.
The Deaton Clemens Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
