SYRACUSE – Lloyd K. “Kent” Kruckeberg, 53, Whitestown, passed away March 24, 2014.
He was born Aug. 7, 1960, in Greenville, Ohio, to Lloyd Kruckeberg and Lynda Fourman.
He grew up in Wabash. He graduated in 1979 from Wabash High School and attended Ball State University in Muncie. He lived in many places, including Warsaw, before moving to Zionsville. He was employed at Midwest Jewelers and Estate Buyers in Zionsville as a goldsmith, and has worked in the jewelry industry for many years.
He formerly attended Warsaw Community Church, and he was very athletic and enjoyed all sports, especially wrestling and motor cross racing.
Surviving are a daughter, Kelli Kruckeberg, Peru; a son, Zach Green, Arizona; his mother, Syracuse; his father, Fort Myers Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Elizabeth “Liz” Fritz, Syracuse, and Belinda “Billi” Kruckeberg, Bradford, Ohio.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, with Pastor Harlan Steffen of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating.
