SYRACUSE – Karen Ann Leigh, 55, Syracuse, passed away at 4:30 p.m. July 31, 2014, at her home. She was born July 3, 1959, in Webster, Mass., to Francis Robert and Jane Gevry Leigh. She attended Tantasqua High School in Sturbridge, Mass., Kaplin University, and moved to the Syracuse area in 1993 from Massachusetts. She formerly worked at Pizza King, Family Dollar and Freedom Express, all in North Webster. She grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Massachusetts and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Warsaw. She is survived by her mother, Leesburg; a daughter, Kristina (and spouse Dan) White, North Webster; two sisters, Roxane Leaming, Leesburg, and Roberta (and spouse Adam) Kline, North Webster; two brothers, Keith Leigh, Leesburg, and Kevin (and spouse Debra) Leigh, Atwood; and two grandchildren, Madison Espinoza and Noxx White. She was preceded in death by her father. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster, with Bishop Jeff Walters of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
