BOURBON – Douglas Clark, 57, Etna Green, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Aug. 24, 2014, at his residence home after an illness.
He was born March 17, 1957, in Bremen to William E. and Betty Everly Clark. On Sept. 6, 1981, he married Patti Miller, who survives.
He was a lifelong resident of Bourbon. He loved to do woodworking, making tables and furniture in his spare time. He raised veal and was a dairy farmer. He attended Triton High School and the Bremen Missionary Church. He will be greatly missed by all.
Also surviving are two stepsons, Jon (and spouse Melissa) Altizer, Graham, N.C., and Michael Altizer, Nappanee; his mother and stepfather, Betty and Lowell Seymour, Plymouth; his four grandchildren: Austin, Hanna, Taylor and Tori Altizer. He was further blessed with his sister, Kim (and spouse Mike) Lemler, Milford; and a brother, Randy (and spouse Cheryl), Chino Valley, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his father.
A celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bremen Missionary Church with Pastor Gary Hinkle officiating. Burial is in Stony Point Cemetery, Etna Green.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
