Charles Edward Lisenbee, 77, Winona Lake, passed away at 10 p.m. July 26, 2014, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 13, 1936, in Belle County, Ky., to James and Nellie Hampton Lisenbee Hoskins. On Dec. 23, 2012, he married Eleanor Koban, who survives.
He had worked for many years as a coal miner and as a factory worker in West Virginia and Illinois. He was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 16 years, where he attended Church of the Nazarene, Warsaw.
Also surviving are two sons, Chuck (and spouse Teresa) Lisenbee and Jim (and spouse Tracy) Lisenbee, all of Warsaw; a daughter, Peggi (and spouse Ron) Wright, Winona Lake; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his brother, Jerome (and spouse Joyce) Hoskins, North Manchester. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Bobby Morris and Tyrone Lisenbee; five brothers and one sister.
Services will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Church of the Nazarene, Warsaw, with Pastor William Keen officiating.
No visitation is planned.
