HAMLET — At Oregon-Davis Thursday, the Triton volleyball team opened its season with a three-game sweep, 25-22, 26-24, 25-14.
In the victory, Jaela Meister had a team-high 14 kills and 13 digs, while Lauren Hostrawser racked up 7.5 blocks, Krystal Sellers posted 21 assists and Quinn Downing recorded four aces.
Also for Triton, Hostrawser and Becca Kennedy each had five kills.
The 1-0 Lady Trojans begin Northern State Conference play Thursday at home against John Glenn.

The Tippecanoe Valley volleyball team picked up its second-straight road win to open the season Thursday, getting a three-game sweep at West Noble, 25-12, 25-22, 25-20. Caylie Teel led the Lady Vikings with 11 kills, Tenaya Shull had 15 assists, Jaden Biddle recorded 14 digs, while Shull and Madi Miller each had four aces. The 2-0 Lady Vikings host Marion Monday.
