The Symphony of the Lakes and music director and conductor Tom Stirling will perform classic and present-day themes from movies, Broadway and other surprises at the “Lights, Camera, Action” pops concert.
The Symphony will perform Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center.
“Lights, Camera, Action” is designed for all audiences with music that is familiar to everyone. Audiences will recognize music from “Batman: The Dark Night,” “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Star Wars.” It promises to be a great time for young and old, according to a press release from the Symphony.
Stirling said, “Our pops concert has an exciting and universal theme loved by all. We hope that audiences will enjoy experiencing a live orchestra performing music people will know and love.”
The pops concert is the opening concert to the 2014-2015 Symphony of the Lakes concert season. The Symphony will be performing seven unique and exciting concerts this year, according to the release.
