WABASH – Roger Hodgson, vocalist and original singer-songwriter from Supertramp, will perform at the Honeywell Center Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m.   
According to a press release from the Honeywell Center, “Hodgson is hailed as one of the most gifted composers and lyricists of our time. He helped define a generation of progressive rock and wrote and sang Supertramp’s globally successful and enduring anthems – songs that helped the band sell well over 60 million albums to date.”
Welcoming Hodgson to the Ford Theater stage is radio station 107.3 WRSW.
“Fans the world over have been thrilled with Hodgson’s unforgettable songs such as ‘Give a Little Bit,’ ‘Breakfast in America,’ ‘The Logical Song,’ ‘Take the Long Way Home,’ ‘Dreamer,’ ‘School,’ ‘It's Raining Again,’ ‘Fool's Overture,’ ‘Child of Vision,’ ‘Even in the Quietest Moments’ and so many more,” according to the release. “Timeless in nature, Hodgson’s songs have played on the radio continuously for 40 years. In concert, he also delivers select songs such as ‘In Jeopardy’ and ‘Lovers in the Wind’ from his five solo album releases.”
“Audiences are once again experiencing the magic and spirit that Hodgson created with Supertramp. Uniting generations at his concerts, baby boomers are transported back to their youth and the younger generations are given a taste of why his heartfelt songs have endured,” the press release states.
Hodgson is quoted in the press release as stating, “I love performing these songs which continue to resound for me as a performer and for the fans. My songs come from a very personal place inside me and they carry my beliefs and my dreams and my philosophy of life. I understand the deep connection that fans have with my songs that have been a part of so many peoples’ lives around the world.”
